The post on X stated that, according to several insiders, the Red Shirt quarterback would not opt for EA Sports College Football 25. The reason being that he was more interested and focused on playing football on the field. The Sports Illustrated Monday morning quarterback reporter retweeted the same and made a witty remark:  “About to tell my wife I can’t take the trash out. Too focused on doing reporting on my phone.”


This might come as a jibe at the 18-year-old’s opting out of this video game. Several athletes have opted in for the upcoming video game with players such as Jalen Milroe, Will Johnson, and others who showed their keen interest. With the comment made by the NFL reporter, the fans did not stop from giving their own opinions under the post.

After more than a decade, EA Sports is again gearing up to release a new college football video game. It’s slated to release this summer and fans are eagerly waiting for its arrival. Approximately 11K athletes are eligible to participate and this time the perks include receiving a $600 amount with a complimentary copy of the game in exchange for their appearance.
