Deion Sanders, coach for the Colorado Buffaloes, is making magic inside the gridiron, but what about outside? The 56-year-old coach has been very successful in his latest venture as a coach. He was able to lead the Buffaloes to a 3-0 consecutive win in his first 3 games. Though he wasn’t welcomed to the field with open arms by few, he was able to let his team’s performance speak for him. While his career has been nothing short of inspirational, his personal life is still something to vouch for.

The 2-time Super Bowl winner has been involved with 3 women in the past and shares a turbulent relationship with his second ex-wife, Pilar Sanders. The duo of Pilar and Deion share two sons together- Shedeur and Shilo Sanders, both of which are part of the Colorado Buffaloes squad. Pilar has had a toxic relationship with Coach Prime but has never shied away from supporting both her sons, despite them being a part of her ex-husband’s team. During the first custody battle, Deion was awarded full custody of their three children while Pilar only had access to visitation rights. Yet even after the divorce, the fights didn’t end there.

The two even took to court when Deion filed a case against the model and made claims of violence against her. Though an investigation took place, no proof of these charges was found and thus, the primary custody rights for their sons were awarded to Pilar. The couple has had an extremely public divorce in recent times, and it has managed to put a large spotlight on the lives of their children.

For someone who claims to live as Coach Prime, he wasn’t an extremely good role model. Thus, even though all his success amounts to a lot, the football community can never forget about the sort of fiascos that took place back then. Pilar, an apparent estranged wife, and Deion Sanders, the man who filed a false domestic abuse case against her, both sound like questionable people who could never sit it out and settle their differences the right way. Yet the question still arises even after all these years is there a possibility of them ever fixing their issues and being a couple again?

As of now, neither of the two seems too interested in getting back together and it might just be for the best. Coach Prime has allegedly been involved with Tracey Edmonds, an American businesswoman. He met her in 2012, a year before his divorce from Pilar, which puts things in a suspicious perspective. The rumors of Deion being unfaithful were mentioned by Pilar but they have never been officially confirmed.

Deion and Edmonds have been dating since 2012 and got engaged in 2019. The couple announced their engagement 4 years ago, but since then things might have soured as the couple seems to longer be officially together. Maybe this says a lot of things about Coach Prime’s character and how he’s stalling a long-term commitment plan. Or maybe he’s just too engrossed with his newest coaching venture to be thinking about anything else.

And it is obvious that she won’t be interested in getting back with her decade-long husband after such a terrible split. Many fans of the sport treat her like an estranged woman who went psychotic on her ex-husband. Yet there are no similar words being said about Coach Prime who’s able to hide away his personal life behind the facade of being a ‘wise’ and a severely disciplined man.
