Caleb Williams seems destined for the Chicago Bears, who hold the coveted No. 1 draft pick. There’s a lot of hype around Williams, so naturally, the pressure is on for his rookie season. However, this could also be a win-win situation as the Bears get a potential franchise quarterback, and Williams gets a chance to shine on the NFL stage.

But before they can both achieve their dreams, there’s one thing Williams wants the Bears to do first. Like any other quarterback, Caleb Williams wants to be as successful as Tom Brady, the greatest quarterback ever. Thus, his camp has sent a clear warning to the Bears to help him chase Brady’s records.

The Bears are pretty serious about helping their future star quarterback to succeed by all means. They’ve already brought in players like Keenan Allen and DJ Moore to build a solid offense around Caleb to help him. With this kind of support, his goal of chasing — or surpassing — Tom Brady’s achievements seems much more achievable.

The Chicago Bears are betting on Caleb Williams to bring trophies to their rooster. But Williams has even bigger goals ahead of the draft. He boldly declared on a recent podcast, “I want to play in one place for 20 years and chase one guy, No. 12 [Tom Brady].” He’s not just aiming for Tom Brady’s seven Super Bowl rings but wants to beat that record with eight under his name. It seems like he’s studied Brady’s playbook with the Patriots and believes staying longer with one team was a major factor in his success. Thus, Williams plans to do the same, aiming to win most of his rings with a single team (likely with the Bears) and surpass even the greatest quarterback ever.

Caleb Williams has proven he’s a top quarterback by scoring 30 touchdowns and racking up 3,633 passing yards. He also earned the Heisman Trophy in 2022, adding to his impressive records over the last two years. However, to chase Brady’s two-decade-long dominance, he must stay on top and win major trophies almost every three years in the NFL. Despite that, fans are eager to see him fight for Brady’s spot over the years.
