Bo Nix gives credit where it’s due

The last win against Oregon State secured their spot in the Pac-12 Championship as they prepare to face their next opponent, the unbeaten 11-0 Washington Huskies to whom they suffered their sole defeat of the season. In a postgame interview, Bo Nix credits the team’s latest victory to the entire team saying, “God is good… It was a complete team win. Our defense played great, offense played great and we got the job done.”

The two interstate rival teams met for the first time 129 years ago in 1894 where Oregon State dominated their first game 16-0.
In their last meeting on November 26, 2022, Oregon State triumphed 38-34 over Oregon. And this year, the Ducks took a win streak higher with their last victory under head coach Dan Lanning who is running his second year with the Ducks.

Just between the two teams, the winner receives the Platypus Trophy in addition to securing a prestigious victory in what is the fifth-most played college football rivalry game in the FBS.
Bo Nix reaps showers of appreciation on Twitter
After the last win against Oregon State, Bo Nix found himself showered with lots of love from fans on Twitter with one fan posting, “I love Bo Nix.”
Bo Nix’s statement crediting their recent victory to the team as a whole won hearts with one fan on Twitter commenting, “That’s why Oregon is the best team ever.” Oregon led the game 21-7 by halftime before coming in for the final 31-7 victory.

One fan took to Twitter to comment on the video as a “Heisman interview.” Bo Nix remains one of the top Heisman Trophy contenders along with LSU QB Jayden Daniels.
Another person commented, “Bo Nix is one heck of a QB. Definite Heisman Candidate.” In the last game, Bo Nix accounted for 360 yards completing 30 out of 37 passes and three TDs. He led the three touchdowns in the first half with a total of 9 TDs in the first half over the last two games.

For Oregon, the only loss they faced this season came from the 11-0 Washington Huskies, who lead No. 1 in the Pac-12. This 36-33 loss is a scar in their overall record of 11-1.
