Oregon star QB Bo Nix is one of the players joining the NFL in the next season, along with RB Bucky Irving.
An official 2024 NFL Draft declaration came from the Ducks player on Monday afternoon. Star RB Bucky Irving posted his choice to join the NFL after spending two seasons with the Ducks. Nix answered the heartfelt message by Irving with a sweet three-word message.

Starting with the 2024 season, Oregon will no longer see their star RB at the Autzen Stadium. Bucky Irving posted on his Instagram a heartfelt note to his school and all his supporters. He posted a message expressing his gratitude to his family, authorities, school, and teammates and ended with the declaration, “I am truly blessed and humbled by the opportunity to make a lifelong dream come true. That said, I have decided to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft!“

Oregon star QB Bo Nix expressed his appreciation for Bucky Irvin on his IG story with the caption, “My RB forever.” The Chicago native joined Oregon in 2022 and became an immediate sensation as one of the best running backs in the Pac-12. In his two seasons with the Ducks, Irving accounted for more than 1,000 yards each. He completed the last season with 1,063 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns with an average of 6.2 yards per carry.

Speculations for the star QB are running high as the 2024 NFL Draft inches closer. According to reports, Bo Nix could be a star addition to the Minnesota Vikings who are looking for a QB this offseason. Trevor Sikkema of PFF said of their decision to pick Nix in the latest NFL mock draft, “Nix once again had a very impressive year as Oregon’s signal-caller.“
If the Vikings pick Bo Nix, it could be a game-changer for them. The 23-year-old set the NCAA record starting 61 games after the Pac-12 championship game. In his last season, he finished with 4,145 yards, 40 touchdowns, 3 interceptions, 6 sacks, and completed 77.1% of his passes.

Although the presence of both Bo Nix and Bucky Irving will be missed in Oregon, they’ll forever be a part of the program that forged their football career. But for now, the two-star Oregon players will move on to accomplish great feats and cement their names in the NFL.
