Since having a heated exit from Coach Prime’s team, the fans predicted that the former commit wouldn’t be able to land one. On the May 17th episode of the Hightop Sports show, the hosts dove deep into the Gators getting their newest 5-star CB for free, which is an absolute steal. Later, they also pointed out how Napier’s decision was really unexpected and a curveball that no one could’ve seen coming.

Shelton gave his opinion on McClain’s transfer and invoked Napier’s profane nickname. He said, “Okay, it’s not because we’re getting a five star for free. It’s not because we’re not having to waste a scholarship position because he can prefer walk on, it’s because I never know what all Billy ballsack’s going to do, and yes Billy ballsack is back. He earned the name back again because he threw a curve ball at me.”

He went on to add, “I went on a show and the guy called me out rightfully, Jason from Hall of Fame football. I went on the show, “He goes, do you think you’ll land Cormani?” I said, “Absolutely not. There’s not a chance in hell, we go back after that because I felt like I got Billy dialed in.”

Soder said that the locker room decided on McClain’s transfer and said, “I mean the locker room actually decided on whether Florida takes Corman McClain or not. Somebody had told me, that one of my insider guys, Billy got the guys together and asked if they would like to take Cormani and they said yes and they all agreed on that and that goes to show you the locker room cohesion.” It is evident that McClain will be sure to witness great chemistry in the team, which is more than that can be said for the Colorado Buffaloes, his former home.
