There is hardly any event more exciting for the Colorado Buffaloes fans other than the Big 12 Conference football. Expected to be dropped in May or June, the D-Day has arrived. However, it did not go as expected, as pointed out in the YouTube podcast Unnecessary Roughness, produced by Barstool Sports.

Brandon Walker does not seem to hold much positive outlook about the conference, but for Colorado Buffaloes this year’s Big 12 Conference is going to be a hit. However, not paying attention to the speculation, Deion Sanders is all geared up with his strategies to shield and propel Shedeur to the playoffs.

The podcast co-host Katie Smith, denied Walker’s claim that the Buffaloes are going to be at the bottom in this year’s Big 12. To make her standpoint strong, she pointed out that the only reason behind Deion Sanders’ program’s failure last year was they failed to land the players they needed most. However, this season things might work out in favor of the Buffaloes. According to Smith,  “I think as a whole it’s like a sh*ttier way shittier conference… I think Colorado will be more successful because they went out they got a much better offensive line they’ve obviously second year getting the program together and they’re playing in a sh*ttier conference than they were last year”.

This season, the Buffs will play nine of the 15 conference opponents, which they will break into four categories. Hence, Deion Sanders is all ready with his mind games to give the best protection to son Shedeur.

As rightly pointed out by Former Pro Bowl-winning wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson, “He [Deion] doesn’t want to set his kids up for failure.” Being a mentor himself, Deion Sanders lives by the motto that a strong and reliable offensive line is fundamental to a team’s success while acting as a shield for the quarterback.

Buffs’ current OL coach, Phil Landholt, seemed positive when he claimed, “We hopefully can build a fence around that and keep guys here so that we don’t have look at other places.” Sanders and Landholt draw confidence from the latest addition to the Buffs’ OL, big names like Justin Mayers, Kahlil Benson, Jordan Seaton, and Tyler Johnson, among others. On May 14, the latest addition arrived as the offensive lineman from East Mississippi Community College, Chris Morris committed to the Boulder program.

Before Deion Sanders and his program set foot at the Big 12 Conference, their performance at the Black and Gold Day will serve as an ultimate boost. With the newly formed offensive line, Shedeur Sanders and company amassed 29 points beating the defense’s score of 24. We will now see how brilliantly this revamped offensive line spreads out the safety net for Shedeur
