Jason Whitlock goes off on Deion Sanders yet again. He’s famously known to be Coach Prime’s number one critic and he proved it well in a recent interview. The Colorado Buffaloes have had a rollercoaster season so far with only one game left to be played.
They currently stand on a poor 4-7 record and are at the bottom of the table. They started off with a bang in the season but it’s been a heavy downfall ever since. After the loss to the Washington State team, Deion Sanders didn’t have a lot to say in his defense except the fact that he wasn’t feeling very well. It seems as if that was enough opportunity for Whitlock to step in and roast Coach Prime.

During the post-match conference after the loss to the Washington team, Deion Sanders took to the mic to explain the match but seemed rather sick. He kept reiterating how he had a severe headache and wasn’t feeling too well. It seems like Jason Whitlock didn’t take too well with his response and called him out on it.
Whitlock furiously said, “Be a man! Quit worrying about being relatable to kids. How about being a role model or an example for kids rather than trying to dress up and look like them?” The Colorado Buffaloes will have to kiss their dreams of the NCAA championship goodbye and wait for yet another year for Coach Prime to come back. But the interesting question is- will he want to come back next year or not?
The transfer rumors that surround Deion Sanders currently
The Texas A&M Aggies recently fired their HC Jimbo Fisher after a string of disappointing performances. Now they’re scouring the NCAA for a replacement and undoubtedly, Coach Prime is one of the candidates on the list. Though he’s had a poor season with the Buffs, he’s definitely been one of the more prominent coaches in the league this year.
"If Deion Sanders went to Texas A&M, it would hurt him in recruiting…You've sold people on the fact that you're not leaving Colorado…You can justify Jackson State, but leaving Colorado after one successful season would be a misstep."

Despite debuting with the Buffaloes this season, he was able to overturn the program singlehandedly. In 2022, the Buffs ended the season with a shocking record of 1-11 and this year they’ve seen a drastic improvement with a record of 4-7. If Coach Prime chooses to leave the Colorado team, it would mean him leaving his sons Shilo and Shedeur back as they’re confirmed to return for the next season. And if there’s anything the fans know about Deion, is that he loves his sons dearly and thus, won’t agree to desert them for better incentives.
