Coach Prime hyped his viewers with a jolly “Guess who’s out here fishing today!” as he slowly held up a bass he caught this morning. He taunted his fellow fishing companion saying, “Travis said he’s having all the fun.” To which, Travis Hunter, who was fishing close by retorted, “I AM having all the fun.”

Deion Sanders took Travis Hunter under his wings not just as a head coach would, but as a father would, by mentoring him on and off the field. As for Travis Hunter, he looks up to Coach Prime as his idol and father figure. He also revealed that his mother trusts his head coach, which gives him more reason to stay devoted to him.

Prime shares a unique bond with all of his players, especially Travis. Back in September, when Hunter was struggling with an injury and was pressuring the HC to let him back on the field, Prime had replied to him, “I care about you more than I care about this game.” Travis Hunter’s decision to follow Deion Sanders to Colorado in the 2023 season alone speaks volumes. And on top of that, they share the same crazy obsession for fishing. Nothing could break the bond between them easily!
