The majority of the heat that exists in college football befalls two pairs of shoulders the most- Shedeur Sanders and Arch Manning. Though heavy pressure over the expectations attached to their respective last names faces both of them, critics seem to criticize the Colorado QB more than Arch Manning.

Arch Manning, the QB for the Texas Longhorns, made the headlines when he declined to partake in the College Football 25 game and stole the fans’ joy of having a ‘Manning’ as a playable character. Today, critics call him out for his NIL earnings, which outrank the likes of Quinn Ewers, Jalen Milroe, and even Carson Beck, who analysts tout to be the number-one pick at the 2025 NFL Draft. All of the success that Arch has had, is solely because he is related to the legendary Peyton and Eli Manning, as per this YouTuber.

If you’re a fan of college football in the slightest, you’ll have an idea of who Shedeur Sanders is and why he’s often disliked by the NCAA community. It just so happened that the Colorado Buffaloes went 4-8 last season and still, Shedeur ranks at the number 1 position of the top NIL-earning athletes in college sports. His worth is over $4.6 million, while Arch is only 3 spots below with a valuation of $2.4 million.

Yet, trolls call out Shedeur for his NIL earnings, putting him at the forefront of the storm, but not an ounce of the trolling reaches Arch Manning’s doors. Well, until today.

On the 9th June episode of the Life and Football channel, they posted a video clip of Bod talking about how Shedeur is mistreated by the community over his money while Arch manages to coast by. He said, “I been saying that for the longest, that Manning Boy has made almost 3M in NIL and haven’t played a down of football, no one said anything, yet they hate on Sheduers NIL Success somehow. We know why. THE MAYO’S!!!!!” Thus, Bod pinned it all on the power of the ‘Manning’ last name which ejects Arch from unsettling trolling. But now, it looks like Shedeur has also had enough of the comments regarding his NIL earnings as he took on former Colorado Gavin Kuld when he criticized the QB’s spending habits in an interview.

Shedeur has always managed to tick off the wrong crowd by his actions of showboating. Angry Nebraska Cornhuskers’ fans widely trolled him over his flexing of his expensive watch, and later, his dancing video alongside his new Tesla Cybertruck also put him in a bad light. But Shedeur chose to ignore all those haters until Gavin Kuld took to an interview, which was seemingly his triggering point.

Recently, Gavin Kuld, the former QB at Colorado Buffaloes, chose to quit the team and enter the transfer portal. But he didn’t exactly leave with an empty silence, he chose to do it with a blast by calling his teammate out on the way he chooses to spend his money.

Kuld spoke to MagDogTV in an interview and responded to the question of whether NIL had changed players. He responded with, “Look at Colorado, (Sanders) has six cars and an apartment.” This angered Shedeur enough for him to fire back with a response that said, “I learned sometimes you have to take the high road. @GKuld I’ll spare you only this 1 time.” Thus, it seemed probable that Shedeur had dirt on Kuld but chose to be the better man and let the beef die down in the ground.
