Former Buford player Dylan Raiola is sandwiched between Georgia and Nebraska fans as his commitment remains pending. The 5-star QB prospect had committed to the Bulldogs in May, however, he seems to be getting close with the Cornhuskers as he prepares to meet them over the weekend.
The signing period is just a week away and if he chooses to hop over to Nebraska, it could be a game-changer for both programs. Dylan Raiola is the No. 8 overall prospect and a top-ranked pocket-passer. Like two kids tugging a doll, Georgia and Nebraska fans could be giving him a hard time in decision-making.

In a recent IG post, Dylan Raiola posted a series of photos of himself during his time at Buford High School. He expressed his gratitude to the Buford community, coaches, teammates, and God and ended his post by saying, “Buford will forever hold a special place in my heart. Thank you and go Wolves.” His post was bombed with floods of comments from Georgia and Nebraska fans who took the platform to present their opinions regarding his upcoming commitment dilemma.

The 6’3″ quarterback’s interest to land at Nebraska could have stemmed from his connection with Nebraska where his father, Dominic Raiola, played as OL. It would impact Matt Rhule and Nebraska tremendously if he signs with the Cornhuskers, especially after losing out of McCord a few days ago. As for Georgia fans, they can’t risk losing their elite prospect to Nebraska. So much is the buzz and suspense that his previous IG post on 15th May about his commitment to Georgia surfaced again, with fans telling him to stay committed to GA.
Georgia and Nebraska fans fight for Dylan Raiola
Dylan Raiola really has a following and high expectations from both programs. After his farewell post, one Nebraska fan commented, “Dear Dylan Raiola, I am a Nebraska fan and I think you should go to Nebraska and make them great again. You already have lots of connections there with your uncle and dad. Matt Rhule can help turn around this program again and I think you would be a great fit with our offense. If you flip that would be a Christmas present for all Nebraska fans and an honor. Sincerely, a Nebraska fan that is desperate for a bowl game.”
Another Husker fan posted, “1. You can be known as another Georgia QB, 2. You can make history and be the face of Nebraska football by putting them back on the map, being an immortal husker… Come home, I know which one sounds better to me brotha.”
