The last 24 hours have been legendary for the Colorado Buffaloes head coach. Coach Prime’s mother and a 99-year-old superfan Peggy went in for a warm hug during the award ceremony. This shows the HC’s legacy and what he means to the people. Prime Time’s inaugural season with the Buffs was a tumultuous one.

While the year began with promise and joy for the fans with three consecutive wins, it slowly turned downhill afterward. The side could only manage a solitary win after the faith shown earlier and led to their exit from the playoffs.

With all the FSU’s playoff snub controversies this year, the NCAA has called for some changes to be made next year. The playoff teams would be extended to 12 the next year and this could mean some positive news for the Buffs. Deion Sanders now came up with a bold prediction saying that his side could qualify for the playoffs.

He recently appeared on the “Good Morning America” show and empathized with FSU’s plight. He shared his honest opinions regarding the same. “I mean, you’re not going to have a college football playoff without Nick Saban, the godfather, and the Alabama team. Texas didn’t do a darn thing. That’s why I’m thankful that they’re extending the playoffs next year. And we will be a part of it.”

Remarked the Colroado’s HC as he beamed with positivity on his side making the playoffs next year. The amount of love and support the side received throughout the season is something worth noticing. The HC is of the view that the playoff spot would become more of an expectation during the next year.
