Prime Time Deion Sanders doesn’t hold back in any case. Especially if someone questions his morals. The Colorado head coach could not hide his emotions in a recent press interaction when a journalist touched a raw nerve. And Sanders did not fail to give the guy a piece of his mind.

Ever since the Hall of Famer has taken the reigns of the Buffaloes, the football program has gone through a lot of overhauls. He cleared out many players in the transfer portal to rebuild the team around his style of play. But the biggest question he has ever faced is around his quarterback. And maybe he has settled it once and for all through a staunch defense of his decision.

There are not many things that annoy Deion Sanders like questions on his morals. A journalist from Boulder learnt it the hard way. He hinted the Buffaloes HC about the certainty of Shedeur Sanders as the starter and asked about his backup. And Prime Time, who is his father, lost his cool a little.

“Can’t say it like that, ‘obviously you are set with Shedeur’. Who do you want me to play?” Sanders clapped back, according to a video on YouTube. When the journalist clarified his question, Sanders asked him to present it a little better.

“You can’t present the thing like that. You know how that sounds? That didn’t sound….you gotta package that thing a little different you know. It’s like I am playing favorites because he’s my son. I’m the same guy who benched my son in a championship game for being five minutes late in Shallow. So, it’s not like we’re set with Shedeur, I think he has earned the right to be the guy behind the center,” Sanders added.
