The NFL icon recently took to Instagram stories to celebrate an outstanding achievement claimed by his team. 

Brady is having a busy time nowadays, with his baseball fantasy draft event, and his leadership ventures, and now with Netflix announcing its second round of ‘Netflix is a Joke,’ the jokes are set to find another target. The GOAT is all set to GROAT, or endure the greatest roast of all time. The seven-time Super Bowl winner seems to be joining in on the spirit, as he finds another reason to spread the cheer. 

Tom Brady celebrates Birmingham City’s win

Birmingham City’s victory over Cardiff City marks their first-ever win at the Cardiff City Stadium and puts an end to their streak of eight consecutive away defeats. An ecstatic Tom Brady took to Instagram to share one of BCF’s winning posts that depicted Bacuna in action. Brady added, “Big Goal! Big W!” to his Instagram Story, applauding Rooney’s efforts and his team’s win. 

In August, Tom Brady assumed the role of minority owner and chairman of the advisory board for Birmingham. Following the deal, he said, “Birmingham City is an iconic club with so much history and passion and to be part of the Blues is a real honour for me. I’ve been part of some amazing teams in my day, and I’m looking forward to applying my perspective to create that same success here in Birmingham.” However, now the NFL legend needs to shield up against a roast coming his way.

Netflix is gearing up for its highly anticipated second “Netflix is a Joke” fest, promising an all-star lineup featuring comedy heavyweights such as Chris Rock, John Mulaney, and Matt Rife. At the heart of the festival is the much-anticipated roast titled G.R.O.A.T., The Greatest Roast of All Time, centering around NFL legend Tom Brady. Serving as the “Roastmaster General” for the night, Jeff Ross will orchestrate a humorous onslaught with Brady’s famous friends and frenemies taking part.

The festival will also commandeer The Hollywood Bowl for stand-up sets by comedic luminaries Trevor Noah, Kevin Hart, Bill Burr, Jerry Seinfeld, and more. Additionally, Chris Rock will be hosting star-studded table reads of his favorite films, adding an extra layer of entertainment to the festivities.

Robbie Praw, Netflix’s Vice President of Stand-up and Comedy, expressed excitement about capturing this unique moment in comedy, bringing together the world’s best comedians for an unforgettable 11 days. While the Blues have finally been able to beat the blues, it is time for Brady to join in on the cheer.
