Amidst the NCAA football transfer portal being open from December 4, 2023, to January 2, 2024, Colorado football coach Deion Sanders is strategically leveraging this opportunity to fortify the Buffaloes’ roster. The team faced challenges during the 2023 season, concluding with a 4-8 record (1-8 Pac-12).

In the previous year, Coach Prime showcased his recruiting prowess by successfully bringing in 53 transfers, including notable talents such as Travis Hunter and his son, quarterback Shedeur Sanders. As Sanders navigates the transfer landscape, there is a prominent player parting ways with Colorado.
