Jim Harbaugh‘s gearing up for the CFP national championship finals. There have been several rumors and speculations revolving around HC’s move to the NFL teams. Now, he has given some perspective about his future plans following the highly-anticipated clash. It’ll  be a colossal game for the finalists- Wolverines and Huskies and a title battle made for the ages!

Jim Harbaugh has received loads of attention throughout the season. More so because of his future NFL endeavors and the Raiders and Chargers, two teams that are in the hunt to rope in the HC. The HC got busy with the presenters once he landed in Houston and was asked about his post-final plans. Harbaugh was at his candid best when he replied to the same with a twist to his answers.

This must be the most frequently asked question as the NCAA season 2023 final draws closer. The rumor mill started midway through the season with Jim not disclosing any of his NFL plans. However, the speculations gathered steam once the HC was suspended for three games. Several months later the man in question has answered everyone with his plans. “In 2021, this time around January went over to NASA, you know did the whole tour over there. It was like Disneyland for space. Hoping we can have a chance to go after the game or something.”

There’s the answer, that everyone was waiting for! Anti-climax perhaps with no NFL mention and certainly no teams talked about as well in the conversation. It was just Jim Harbaugh being himself. Harbaugh is a Sci-fi fanatic it seems and loved his previous trip to NASA. He also mentioned the great hotel where he stayed along with another member of the coaching unit and the drives to one of the shores in Texas. Whether Harbaugh leaves for the NFL or not, he has performed his role for the Wolverines to the best of his abilities.

Coaches like Jim Harbaugh are sparse and the ones that keep a calm demeanor amidst controversies are rare to find. More than the on-field performances, this 2023/24 season will be remembered for Jim and his boys’ off-field allegations. There were times in November 2023 when Michigan found themselves wanting against the NCAA with everybody throwing their opinions to the side.

He became the only coach in the Big Ten history to win three straight outright championship titles. The feeling was mutual when the likes of JJ McCarthy swelled with pride and revealed that he played under the best coach.

Harbaugh, if he decides to move to the NFL, can do so with tons of memories and the backing of his players.
