Look who’s back in the news again: From getting criticized for saying the biggest achievement SEC had made was the Texas & Oklahoma deal to calling Deion Sanders a “Hollywood-created celebrity” and not a great coach on McElroy and Cubelic in the Morning Show, Paul Finebaum is back to serve some hot takes.

However, guess some fans can breathe a sigh of relief because Deion Sanders jumped right in to shut Paul Finebaum up once and for all. Starting yet another beef with the Buffs, Paul Finebaum’s “Colorado Is Nothing” comment might as well be the final straw. Deion Sanders took to Instagram on July 16th to stand up for his family and team. “You have No idea what trials, tribulations & prayers that got us here!” Deion said noted boldly under a post on his feed. While the 2023 season was rough, Deion Sanders and the Buffs are ready to take on the best and come out with a win. Amidst the controversy, Finebaum started by reigniting his beef with CU. Coach Prime, like the father and mentor he is, did not waste a second to come to his family’s defense.

And you have to say, Prime did it uniquely. “I’m So Proud Of You Son. @ShiloSanders And you’re DOGG!” Deion mentioned further in his post. Hyping up his son, looks like Prime has all faith that this year Shilo is about to cook up something major on the field. While Finebaum has gone on to say that Colorado will never compete for the playoffs, the Buffs on the other hand look quite ready to tackle any challenge in the upcoming season. Will these comments by Finebaum serve as the final catalyst for the Buffs to grab an amazing season?

All set for 2024

“We ain’t coming, we already here,” James Chaney had commented on another episode on The Pregame Show Network back on July 9th. Coach Prime’s mantra has been redefined as Chaney made the goals and expectations for the 2024 season all clear. “Time to get the party started, man. I’m looking forward to this undefeated National Championship run,” Chaney had further added. He has all the right to be happy cause Travis is set, looking mean and stronger than before. Shedeur’s accuracy has gone up considerably and Deion Sanders has got in players like Tyler Johnson, Justin Mayers, and Jordan Seaton to protect Shedeur while he’s in the pocket.

And now, amidst all this, even Shilo Sanders, back on July 14th made it very clear that he’s ready for this season. “We definitely have a better chance of winning this year than last year. More guys are hungry to go to the league,” he told Brian Howell. Using the 2023 season as a major motivator, the Buffs are ready to trample the fields. So, will Paul Finebaum’s comments finally come back to bite him? Well, we’ll see soon enough.
