The son of Deion Sanders used to be one of the most popular names in college football, until a few months ago, when his entire legacy fell into shambles. The 24-year-old lost the entirety of his financial wealth when a 2016- case forced him to declare for bankruptcy and now, even his character seems to be running on empty as Shilo’s violent transgressions come to light.

Remember the bashing that took place for Cormani McClain? How he was termed as a “momma’s boy” for complaining about Colorado’s environment and choosing to leave? Well, all of that is suddenly making sense as the alleged atrocities that were committed against him are coming to light. The management on the team supposedly treated McClain like garbage and at the forefront of it all, was Shilo Sanders, and how he used to “slap” the 19-year-old in practice.

The troubles seem to keep piling and piling on over the shoulders of Shilo Sanders. After the tumultuous exit of Cormani McClain from the team, the Sanders family villainized the player for his negative views on the program. Now, the tide seems to be turning the other way around as Shilo gets accused of bullying the youngster who decided to jump ship. An anonymous player who left the Colorado Buffaloes shed light on the dark reality of the team from an insider’s perspective. He said, “Cormani was taking a lot of heat from everyone. At the same time Coach Prime was saying he was in the doghouse and needed to improve, Cormani was getting bullied by Shilo (Sanders). “

The dark tale unraveled when this player narrated an incident where Shilo allegedly “slapped” Cormani several times, which in turn invoked a furious reaction from the cornerback who threatened to supposedly “ki**” the Colorado safety. This was seemingly his last straw, which made him decide that he couldn’t be in Boulder anymore and hence, his controversial departure. Even the coaching staff was allegedly calling Cormani “derogatory names on the practice field”, which leads us to think, how much more of the gruesome reality is Coach Prime and his mighty Buffaloes hiding from everyone?

The story of John Darjean and how he was wronged by Shilo and even Deion by extension, is painful and barbaric to hear. Back in 2015, Shilo was 15 years old, and one day, Darjean tried to confiscate his phone at school but what happened next, continues to shock fans till this very day. Shilo erupted in a fit of rage and hit him so hard near his neck using his elbow that Darjean was scarred with permanent injuries, severe nerve damage, and incontinence.

Even the glorious Coach Prime doesn’t have his hands clean in this incident since four days after Darjean filed his lawsuit, Deion overturned his initial agreement with the security guard’s story and called him a “grifter” in front of TMZ in 2016. While the fans brushed off Shilo’s acts as a fit of rage that erupted as an impulse of a 15-year-old, what will they say about a 23-year-old slapping around a 19-year-old teammate? It is evident that a history of violence sticks onto Shilo like a stain that won’t go away, but it is highly unlikely that Deion or the program will make any sort of official decision regarding his suspension or termination altogether.
