A lot is going on with Coach Prime beginning with Cormani McClain being one of the early players to depart from Colorado. Since then the Buffs lost over 40 players in the transfer portal leaving people questioning the future of Colorado football. And the rumor that Coach Prime could be following in McClain’s footsteps isn’t helping the Buffs fans’ confidence.

There have been talks that Deion Sanders has a probability of joining the Florida Gators next year despite previously playing for Florida State Seminoles in his college days. That scenario could become even more possible if Colorado does well in the Big 12. But with Cormani McClain, who headlined coach Prime’s first recruiting class, joining Florida, could this scene we envision become a reality? And his sister isn’t being much of a help in the beef department.

After a long stay in the portal, Billy Napier signed Cormani McClain to Florida. The 20-year-old Lakeland HS 5-star recruit didn’t have the best experience at Colorado where he was constantly finding himself in trouble with Coach Prime. But even after he found a new landing place, his sister couldn’t let go of the grudge. According to what DJ Bless One said on his YouTube account IsmokeHiphop Live, “[Cormani’s] sister… Instead of her worrying about being happy for her brother, she’s on IG live going back and forth with trolls on IG.”

McClain’s sister might have done something she shouldn’t have done. The statement further goes, “She’s calling out the haters or whatever. If you don’t know about football and you speak about anybody and you try to criticize them in a certain way, then that is being a hater because you don’t even know them.” Online beef isn’t something any serious player would want to be affiliated with. After all, social image is very important and social media can be a very brutal world for scarring images.

Caught up in social media beefs

Deion Sanders hasn’t kept his social media reputation in check lately after several online beefs surfaced when departing players criticized Colorado. One of the biggest scandals was when he responded to an ongoing Xavier Smith social media beef. When the former DB claimed that Deion Sanders was destroying guys’ confidence. Kaleb Mathis took to X to post a video of him beating Smith in practice but Smith’s new teammate Jaheim Ward posted Mathis’ stats of 38 receiving yards.

Instead of staying away from the players’ battle, Deion Sanders jumped in the action posting a not-so-impressive Ward’s career stats with the caption, “Lawd Jesus.” This has put him in a low light in the public’s eyes. These beefs only downgrade a person’s reputation and maturity going forward. Hopefully, everyone soon learn from their mistakes and handle their online reputation more responsibly.
