If we look at Deion Sanders’s dating history, then it’s easy to see that Coach Prime goes for strong, independent women. While the most iconic out of all of Prime’s relationships would be the one with CEO Tracy Edmonds, there is one more person who has been stuck with Prime for over 10 years. Pilar Sanders, actress and mother to No.1 QB Shedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders, who was away from social media, has finally made a comeback but with a bang.
July 28th saw Pilar took to Threads to drop a post about “alpha males”. “Alpha males overstand,” Pilar wrote in her update. This was done directly by sharing one of Yahdan Yada’s Instagram videos. The video shows Yada talking about how he would want to do everything for the girl he’s with. “Why are you choosing me? You want an alpha male. I’m gonna show you my alpha side,” Yada was found saying. This new trend has recently taken over all social media sites. With “dating gurus” or “alpha males” talking about how it is all their responsibility to treat a woman right. While treating women is a big thing, making it your entire personality isn’t. Women have come quite far.

Another big example of this would be Tracy Edmonds herself. She’s a multi-millionaire and also has a company of her own. In the grand picture of things, Pilar’s take is quite understandable. This has become a common problem for women who have been on social media. Other than this, Pilar has also been quite vocal for her and Deion’s daughter, Shelomi Sanders.
A mother’s support
April was harsh for Deion Sanders. His daughter had decided to step away from Colorado and move to Alabama to continue her basketball career. Deion, being the major Buffs fanatic, had no support for her. However, the silver lining to it all was Pilar coming to her daughter’s support. She took to Instagram to share a video of her with Shelomi with the caption, “Babeeeeeee.” Both were seen in quite a celebratory mood.
Even in May, Pilar was seen with all hands on deck to help Shelomi prove her father wrong. She posted a practice clip of Shelomi with the bold caption, “We got thangs to do”. Deion’s reaction to the entire debacle was quite odd. In an episode of the DNVR podcast, Coach Prime said, “I am the leader of the family and I have been dictating where the kids go.” Shelomi became the first of the Sanders to directly break off from the traditional path. Let’s hope that someday this petty issue will be resolved and both Deion and Pilar can enjoy some Alabama games together.
