Hit pieces” don’t frighten Coach Prime! Indeed, anyone in Deion Sanders’ shoes might buckle under the pressure of the persistent online trolls. However, the coach’s forceful personality and optimism help tide over the haters’ savage remarks. After dealing with the backlash from players who left the squad through the transfer portal, Deion has to safeguard his and his players’ mental strength. This time, the allegations relate to the Prime Weekend Lil Wayne concert.

As previously reported by Steve Corder of Athlon Sports, Deion Sanders allegedly “forced” his players to attend the concert that was opened by his son Shedeur Sanders. The allegation is that he wanted the players to support his son’s music career. While Coach Prime has already denied the rumors as “lies,” the narrative keeps surfacing, leading him to drop some ample “Coach Prime” advice.

Deion Sanders has a powerful message regarding negativity and positivity that he shared in the latest YouTube episode on Reach The People Media on June 22. He first began his message addressing naysayers, saying, “Why do you continuously give negativity a microphone? Why did you give it a stage?… Why do you allow negativity to have a say so in your life?” As an optimist, Deion Sanders added, “Positive people ain’t got time to be negative, and negative people really don’t see any means for positivity.”

This occurred in response to the media’s unrelenting attempts to smear his name because of the Lil Wayne concert. Fortunately, Coach Prime’s extensive experience allows him to overlook this scandal and instead bestow blessings upon his haters. Even better, he has a solid backing to protect him against the media’s crude, false comments.

The concert rumor incited lots of mixed responses from different people, including the Buffs governor Camden Dempsey. As the mouthpiece of Colorado, Dempsey is quick to dismiss the rumors saying it’s “100% false.” He said, “We were never ‘forced’ to go to this concert. We are a team that supports all of our players, but this is just crazy. Might want to find a better source.” And he’s not the only credible backup.

Even Uncle Neely stood up for Coach Prime, saying, “It’s lies, it is slander, and it travels fast.” He also knows how prominent people like Deion Sanders are easy prey for the relentless media as he said, “The hit pieces will continue because Deion Sanders is Deion Sanders, and the only way to attack him is with a lie.” We can only hope that Coach Prime will remain above these degrading rumors and not let negativity affect this season’s performance.
