This joyous event, planned long ago when Jacquees hinted at house-hunting for the perfect setting, has brought together close friends and family, including the woman who reignited the gender debate, Jacquees’ mother.

Rosie Demetria Thompson, the mother of Jacquees, is all set to grace her grandchild’s gender reveal party with her presence. She uploaded a picture of herself on her IG story, prepped for a trip, and wrote, “Nana gone find out the gender of her new grand heart,” tagging Jacquees and Deiondra Sanders. And it looks like she isn’t coming empty-handed because what else could a plush blue baby stroller with the caption “What team” mean? 

Could it be Nana is hoping to see the blue? For the longest time since the anatomy scan, Jacquees has been an ardent supporter of Team Boy, while Deiondra wanted a girl. But somehow, while her fans are also with her on Team Girl, she seems to be gravitating toward her family’s choice lately as she revealed in her interview with Coach Gessie. She said, “I was team girl and [Jacquees] is Team Boy but I think now I think I might be Team Boy. He’s definitely Team Girl but I’m going back and forth between Team Girl and Team Boy.”

What one must remember is that Deiondra Sanders is having her baby despite several complications that could harm her or the baby. With seven fibroids, four myomectomy surgeries, and more complications, she has still braved the odds as she crossed the half mark of her pregnancy journey. Right from the start, she has kept her fans updated on everything related to her pregnancy and personal life. 

After updating her fans about her cerclage procedure on May 10, Deiondra Sanders is now ready to know if she’s cradling a boy or a girl.
