Shedeur Sanders’ deal with Gatorade dates back to early 2022 when he was at Jackson State. Fast forward, he is now a part of the company’s largest campaign as they revived “Is It in You?” on May 29. The epic campaign features NBA legend and Gatorade’s long-term partner Michael Jordan with a 60-second self-narrated film called “It Hasn’t Changed.”

Herein, where Jordan urged the younger athletes to look for the “it” inner drive, the Buffs QB is among the likes of other stars like Aja Wilson and Caitlin Clark who also joined the campaign. The influence of Gatorade has spread over to Colorado, especially in Jimmy Horn Jr. See his natural talent as a potential Gatorade partner.

It looks like Jimmy Horn Jr. is all prepped to become a Gatorade spokesperson as seen in Well Off Media‘s latest YouTube episode on June 20. In the video, he casually advertised a Gatorade bottle saying, “Gatorade. It gives the right nutrition and nutrients that you need for your body. It’s going to have you hydrated, it’s going to give you the right protein that you need to get in weight.” Deion Sanders Jr., who was filming the scene, agreed, saying “Amen bro.” Then he urged Gatorade to not miss out on this natural talent saying, “Gatorade hit him up.”

Jimmy Horn Jr. further flexed his Gatorade frenzy saying, “Gatorade muscle bro. Gatorade Nutrition shake. Get yours at Gatorade.com.” This led Deion Sanders Jr. to add more urgency for the mega sports drink company as he said, “He need that deal Gatorade.” If Horn Jr. inks the deal, he could potentially make big changes just like Shedeur Sanders did.

In 2022, Shedeur Sanders became the first HBCU student-athlete to partner with Gatorade, following in the footsteps of pros like Serena Williams and Jayson Tatum, among others. When he made the deal, he said, “I’m honored to be part of the Gatorade family… As a kid, I was drinking Gatorade regularly. So now that we have the opportunity to partner with them and be part of Gatorade, I’m very blessed.” But it was after he came to Colorado that he did something big.

Last July, Shedeur Sanders partnered with Gatorade and Good Sports to surprise the Falcons with about $45,000 worth of equipment and uniforms. Even the youth organization received a $5,000 Gatorade Equity in Sports Community Grant. This Super Bowl weekend, he promoted his Gatorade DT2 bottle. Later in May, he also took to his IG to promote a new limited edition flavor called Midnight Ice. Shedeur Sanders is already the highest NIL earner in college sports with a valuation of $4.7 million. His partnership with Gatorade will undoubtedly stretch on.
