Since facing their fair share of criticism, the Colorado Buffaloes seem to be on their path to curbing their ways as they’re finally ready to showcase their redefined team. With their first game against Nebraska being telecasted at the prime time of 6:30 p.m. CT, Deion Sanders will have a lot to prove against the incessant hate that his team has been receiving.

The Colorado Buffaloes recently conducted their Spring Game, which saw the new and improved squad for the first time. The fans were especially happy to see the men in black and golden perform well since the team had been plagued with a mass exodus of players until recently. As such, there were a lot of eyebrows being raised against Deion, but after the Spring Game, he’s made it clear that the Buffaloes are ready to go and they’ll lead with their horns this time.

NBC earned the rights to showcase the game between the Buffs and the Huskers that is set to take place on the 8th of September, marking the beginning of a new chapter for Coach Prime’s team.

In an Instagram post by Outbackpresents, they shared a trailer of the Spring Game that occurred on April 27. It was a grand day with a great set of celebrations. With appearances from top stars like Ryan Garcia, Lil Wayne, and YG, it was a star-studded event that had the Buffs’ fans moving and grooving.

Under the comments, Deion replied by saying, “This is How we do a Spring Game!” Thus, the 2024 season seems to be starting off well for the team which has a lot to prove to the league, following all the backlash and controversies against the challenges of the NCAA. With that being said, the Nebraska Huskers will be looking to have their revenge on the Buffs for the painful loss they incurred last season.

Nebraska versus Colorado will be a game of revenge

During the 2023 season, the Colorado Buffaloes faced off against the Nebraska Huskers in their second game of the season. While everyone had low expectations from Deion and his team, they proved the haters wrong by defeating the Huskers with a staggering score of 36-14. Now that the field is set and Nebraska is ready to host their rivals, the 2024 season is going to be explosive, to say the least.

Matt Rhule, the HC for the Huskers, also expressed his excitement for the battle of the giants and said, “I’ve only had one home night game here so far and it was a great experience. The Nebraska-Colorado rivalry over the years, what it means. Obviously, they beat us last year. And then for our guys, early in the season, have a chance to go out there on national TV and show the country the work that we’ve done and the team that we have. It should be an amazing, amazing game.”

Thus, it was Colorado who came out as the unexpected winners last year and hopefully, this time they repeat the same course of action as the hype around the team in Boulder continues to reach an all-time high.
