Shedeur Sanders was designed to be on-field. So naturally, when he had to enter the classroom, it was like treading into an uncharted territory blindfolded. But his father had commanded it. To add to the assertiveness from Coach Prime, it was in front of every Buffs player. Shedeur Sanders had to attend his classes now. Something that he had been unapologetically skipping ever since he joined his sociology major at CU.
It was a trend being followed by most other CU players. Shedeur Sanders broke it and decided to attend his chemistry class. Which might be exactly why many of his classmates were gawking at him like the blue moon he was. Seems that the topic of combustion didn’t interest him enough as he pulled out his phone and went live on Instagram. He also recorded several of his classmates joining his Instagram live session.

With the stint, Shedeur Sanders might be inviting direct trouble, since his father Deion Sanders was brimming with anger, where his words meant ‘no disrespectful behavior in the class’. It all started when Deion Sanders received an email from a CU professor, an extensive one, highlighting the unacceptable behavior of the Buffs players in their course classes. Prime was bubbling with rage as he read out each word of the mail to the Buffs players during their meet.
The thrashing of the Buffs players went as expected, with Deion Sanders explaining them in his way. But he wasn’t done after it. He targeted his coaching team. Sanders knew if he had to foster the spirit of sincere studying in the Buffs players, it had to be through their first line of contact: the coaches who work with them every day.

Deion Sanders’s unfiltered advice to the Buffs coaches
If anything, Deion Sanders was not going to sugarcoat his anger after the incident that unfolded. Especially when most of them knew the importance of education for him. “It’s clear that I’m angry because we in this new collective in NIL state of mind, we got youngsters that’s all in on one side of the game,” Sanders iterated.
“90% or 95 % of your roster ain’t going pro. So, coaches, we gotta emphasize education, we gotta emphasize life, we gotta emphasize the next step, the next elevation if it doesn’t work in the game,” Prime further added, stating the matter-of-fact reality about the sport.
