Colorado backup running back Kavosiey Smoke loves to add smoke to the fire. After suggesting the Buffaloes could have won every game this season if not for his teammates’ selfish mindset, he recently poked an even bigger fire on his Instagram Stories. This time almost bordering the misogynist lines.?

The 56?14 loss to Washington State marked their seventh defeat and fifth consecutive loss since October 7. Smoke, in his sixth college football season, shared his ?selfish? thoughts on X on Saturday morning after the disappointing performance. The media was quick to blow it out of proportion. Smoke, however, has recently attempted to calm the fire by addressing the interpretation of his comments about his team on platform X.

The backup running back recently shared a story on his Instagram account that depicted a very controversial carousel. ?Psychologist reveals why women cheat far more than men,? is the caption that presided a short clip from an interview between a female psychologist and a male host. The woman proceeds to say that according to her women in general cheat way more than their male counterparts since ?they don’t even label it as infidelity.?Smoke added his bit of sauce to the already saucy claim, saying, ?I think women do but this just big part of the reason that money pay a big part.?

A highly inflammable and very unpopular opinion most NFL fans would agree. However, given his recent endeavors, such a stance comes as no surprise. He took a harsh step by criticizing his team publicly. The Colorado Buffaloes suffered a string of losses and failed to remain playoff-eligible despite the lofty promises and claims furnished by head coach Deion Sanders earlier. Sanders might have lost a playoff birth, but his fan base remains unfettered and was quick to defend their favorite coach against Smok?s harsh words.?

Smoke addresses his ?selfish? comments against Colorado?

Following their 56?14 loss to Washington State, Smoke, in his sixth college football season, expressed his thoughts on X Saturday morning, ?simple fact bru we could?ve went undefeated this year?to much selfish ball going on man can?t win like that?gotta play and win as a team but if u go the other route u get results like this??. He suggested that his team could have performed way better if not for their ?selfish? ball play.

He later addressed the media backlash with a smug, “Y’all trying to make something bigger than what it is,” on platform X, “Be forgetting this y’all job.”

The controversial Colorado character has seen limited action this season and previously expressed frustration on Twitter about not showcasing his full talent. Smoke, in his last collegiate game on Nov. 25 against Utah, has played a minimal role this season after transferring from Kentucky, where he served as a backup behind notable running backs.
