Jim Harbaugh, the new head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers, has a rich history rooted in Michigan. His journey began in 1983 when he started his college football career in Michigan, initially seeing no action on the field. However, he persevered and went on to win several titles, including the MVP in the Big Ten Conference and Big Ten Player of the Year. In 1986, at 22, he left college football to join the NFL.
After spending 15 years playing in the NFL, he coached five teams before returning to Michigan as the HC. He then led the Wolverines for nine seasons since 2015, ultimately leading them to a National Championship in 2023 before departing for the NFL. And now, aside from Jim Harbaugh, Michigan loses another Harbaugh as Grace Harbaugh graduates at 23.
