The Commanders’ luck is below average when it comes to securing a consistently productive QB. They’ve experienced several QBs over the past seasons including RGIII, Kirk Cousins, Alex Smith, and Sam Howell, among others. None of them could offer what the franchise is looking for. But with Jayden Daniels coming in after a phenomenal season in 2023 with 3,812 yards and 40 touchdowns, could they have found a permanent solution to their QB crisis?
Jayden Daniels was the first player to secure 12,000+ passing yards and 3,000+ rushing yards in a college career in FBS history. His pride and satisfaction with how he reached this point in his life is evident as he previously stated, “My journey overall to get to this point. I walked my journey. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I wouldn’t trade how I got here, how long it took or anything like that.” And now as he joins the Commanders, a new era begins but hopefully, he will be the answer that Washington has been looking for all along.
