In his first State of the Program address, CU Buffs governor Camden Dempsey reveals the genuine camaraderie between Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter. In his recent YouTube video of his first speech, he was asked if this pair of college football stars are as good as people think they are. Dempsey responded, “Absolutely. There’s a reason that they’re rated so highly in EA Sports. You come to practice every day and it’s like getting to go to an NFL practice. I mean they practice like pros, act like pros. Their bond is so strong that any beef that you’ve heard between any of the guys in the locker room is just non-existent.”

Dempsey also emphasized that their primary focus right now is to prepare for their upcoming regular season. The Buffs will kick off their first season game against dominant North Dakota State on August 29.
