When it comes to the greats of the sports, NBA and the NFL, both LeBron James and Deion Sanders stand out in the history of their respective sports. Though their time has seemingly come to an end, sports fans now look to their children to carry on their legacies. By the looks of it, Shedeur Sanders is ready to make his own mark, while Bronny James is facing mixed predictions about his future.

Shedeur Sanders, the quarterback for the Colorado Buffaloes, is touted as a potential first-round draft pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. After giving an exceptional performance last season, he has been hailed as the next great “Sanders” in the NFL. Shedeur is entering his third year of college eligibility, having transferred from Jackson State to Colorado, Bronny James is predicted to be a second-round pick in the NBA Draft after completing his freshman season with the USC Trojans. This has led to a perception that Shedeur is more experienced and destined for greater success, while the same level of certainty is not afforded to Bronny James.

In an episode of the Undisputed show, Skip Bayless went on to talk about the greatness of Shedeur Sanders and how he will be a befitting talent in the NFL. He stated, “Shedeur is not just the best QB in that conference but he’s the best QB in the country and he’s going to be the first pick in the draft and I think he’s going to be really really good in Pro Football.” Thus, the Colorado QB has earned a mighty compliment for himself as he prepares hard to make Bayless’ words come true.

On the other hand, Bronny is being seen by many analysts as less likely to achieve the same level of success as his father, LeBron James. In the same episode, Rachel Nichols had a few underwhelming words for Bronny James’ NBA career. According to her, “He needs to learn how to create more. He needs to better his shot. Will he ever be a star? I don’t think so. Just his size and some of the other things about the way he plays.” Moreover, Deion Sanders had his own thoughts on Bronny’s future by the way he reacted to Stephen A. Smith’s points.

In an Instagram post from May 14th, Smith discussed the potential of LeBron James joining the Dallas Mavericks if they were to draft Bronny in the second round. Given that LeBron has stated he wants to play with his son, Smith speculated that the Mavericks might draft Bronny as a strategy to attract LeBron.

Smith elaborated on this situation and said that the Mavericks would choose Bronny as a tactic to land James. He further added, “If you the Dallas Mavericks, and you got Kyrie, and you got Luka, and LeBron James is willing to come to Big D, Dallas, Texas. That might be the first time something is more popular than the Cowboys.” To which Coach Prime commented below in agreement, “Great Take“. Thus, while Bronny’s journey in the NBA may be challenging, Shedeur is expected to be among the elite in the NFL.
