So much so that he finally received a memento from the goat himself, which he’ll remember for years to come.

During the match between the Denver Nuggets and the LA Lakers, the trio of Deion, Shedeur, and Hunter showed up courtside in the VIP seats. These players will soon be stars in the football world as well, but that day, they were just fans of one of the greatest basketball players in the world. And when LeBron personally sent over a gift for Hunter, he couldn’t help but show it to all of his 1.2 million followers.

Travis Hunter took to Instagram to flaunt his gift from the legendary LeBron James. The 20-year-old posted a story wearing the Lakers hoodie on his account, leaving the fans in awe.

He captioned the story by saying, “Thank you, Unc,” and it will mean a lot to the youngster, as he was once spotted talking to James and asking him to send a jersey. LeBron came up to the duo and showed them love, as they couldn’t be more in a state of shock. Additionally, Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter are known to be massive Lakers fans; thus, this gift will be a full-circle moment for the Buffs’ cornerback. Though they’re ardent fans of the sport, the fans got a glimpse into their basketball skills, and let’s just say that they’re glad Shedeur and Travis stick to football.

Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter have managed to reach the pinnacle of success with their performances, despite the team’s poor season. And thus, they were invited onto the court to try their hand at shooting 3-pointers but couldn’t land a single basket.

The clip that soon went viral saw Shedeur and Travis consistently try to land a bucket, but couldn’t. Romi Bean of CBS News Colorado captioned the video by saying, “Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter are not exactly draining buckets. A for effort, though.” Moreover, the two players have been the driving force behind Colorado’s minuscule amount of success, but they’re visibly bad when it comes to basketball.
