QB JJ McCarthy, along with other key players in the team have recently posted a one-word cryptic ‘battle cry’ “bet” tweet on their social media. Even NFL legend Tom Brady has followed the trend. Fans have speculated endlessly about the meaning behind the same. What could it mean?

All of this comes after the fallout between the Big 10 and Coach Jim Harbaugh because of the sign-stealing incident. This resulted in his suspension for the rest of the NCAA season. Twitter users are confused and looking for possible connections between the suspension and the tweets by Michigan Wolverines players.

Following the suspension of their head coach, several Michigan players tweeted “bet“. QB JJ McCarthy, along with other key players in the team like offensive lineman Trevor Keegan, LaDarius Henderson, Karsen Barnhart, Zak Zinter as well as defensive stars Kris Jenkins, Mike Sainristil, and Josh Wallace have done this.

Interestingly, even Barstool Sports CEO and former Michigan player Dave Portnoy tweeted, “I love this rally cry. Bet I will.As curious as it seems, Tom Brady joined in and posted the same on his Twitter. Once fans noticed the 7x SB winner’s intervention, they couldn’t stop their excitement.

The University of Michigan filed for a temporary restraining order to stop the suspension. In an interesting twist, the judge who was initially assigned the case, Honorable Timothy P. Connors, is a University of Michigan graduate and a lecturer at the University of Michigan Law School.

With Brady joining the fray, the discussion surrounding the tweet has become even more vigorous, with speculations abounding.

Fans are confused about these tweets. There are several speculations about what it could mean.

Some others pointed out that Brady’s involvement could mean dire consequences for the rest of the Big 10. Tom Brady joining in brought in a lot more attention.

Michigan fans were just thrilled that Brady, their ex-college QB, has decided to weigh in. He played at Michigan from 1996 to 1999.

His final game at UM went on to become his best on the national stage as Michigan faced Alabama.
