The Kansas City Chiefs (14-6) and the San Francisco 49ers (14-5) are finally meeting for a Super Bowl rematch. The Super Bowl LVIII could see the 49ers taking their revenge when the dominant Chiefs beat them 31-20 in SB LIV. There’s no shortage of speculations and predictions as the anticipation builds and Deion Sanders is making a bold prediction.

In the last SB in 2020, Patrick Mahomes led his team from a 20-10 deficit in the fourth quarter to victory. But this year, San Fran is coming in with a different roster led by QB Brock Purdy and RB Christian McCaffrey. In addition to his prediction, Coach Prime also drops his insights on the edge that the 49ers could have in the game.

Apple Music just uploaded a post on X featuring Lil Wayne with Deion Sanders and Skip Bayless in which Coach Prime picks his side. Despite his admiration for Coach Andy Reid and TE Travis Kelce, Deion Sanders is still rooting for the 49ers as he said, “I like San Fran. I like Kyle Shanahan.” He added, “The defense is angry too. They got a couple of linebackers at San Fran and they run angry too.”

The 49ers game against the Detroit Lions at the NFC Championship Game indicated the defense’ need for transformation. After a narrow 34-31 victory, the defensive film review displayed how they fell behind by 17 points. Much blame was put on the defense players who weren’t giving their full effort. But the 49ers have learned their lessons and it can be seen in their disappointment and their commitment to not let it happen again in the upcoming SB LVIII against the Chiefs. But while the defense is an important aspect to the outcome of the game, Deion Sanders also believes that the outcome will depend a lot on the team’s QBs.

Deion Sanders drops his advice for the 49ers

Led by Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, the Chiefs enter the showdown with tough competition for the 49ers. But Coach Prime believes that San Fran can get the edge if they execute his insight. He said, “If I’m San Fran, I’m going to try to take Travis Kelce out of the game. I’m doubling him all game. Make these other guys beat me. In that philosophy, the edge goes to San Fran because you can’t take all those pieces that they have out. They have too many weapons offensively to do this.”

According to Deion Sanders, it’s going to be an intense game for the signal callers. Both Mahomes and Purdy are elite QBs and it’s going to be a tough competition. Coach Prime added, “Somebody’s gonna make a mistake or mistakes and that’s gonna be the difference.” Just a few hours away from the big event, and soon everything will be revealed!
