Partying in Vegas, fun with karaoke and faith. These are some of the things Deion Sanders Jr. and boxer Ryan Garcia have bonded over in the last month or so. The friendship between the two has grown stronger and an evidence of that was on display when Sanders Jr. shut up a troll, who questioned his association with Garcia.

In an Instagram post by Well Off Forever on 24 June, Sanders Jr. can be seen sharing a snap of his close ones, having a hearty laugh on a video call. The frame had Garcia, Shedeur Sanders, Deiondra Sanders, rapper Gillie Da Kid and a couple of other friends. The caption of the post read, “These people crazy 😂😂. 2 days in a row,“. The problem arose when a user brought up the political preferences of Ryan Garcia and his recent boxing suspension for failing a drugs test in the comments.

“Not a good look to be associated with a Trump supporter who also shoots up steroids in boxing. Not all clout is good clout,” the user wrote. Not letting the statement slide, Sanders Jr. was quick to jump to the defense of the boxer. Shutting up the user in a no-nonsense manner, Bucky replied, “I ain’t gone switch up on family because you feel a way.”

Following his April 20 bout with David Haney, Garcia tested positive for banned substance ostarine in two separate tests taken before his fight. As a result, New York State Athletic Commission handed him a one-year ban on 21 June. His win over Haney was declared a no-contest, and he had to forfeit his $1.2m contract purse from the fight and pay a $10,000 fine.

It was just months ago that Garcia and Sanders Jr. started hanging out together when the boxer visited the Buffs during their spring game in April. Since then, the pugilist, who put a $2 million bet on himself in his fight against Haney, and the “social media guy” of the Sanders family have gotten closer.

On May 4, Well Off Media uploaded a video on YouTube, in which Sanders Jr. and Garcia, along with other friends took part in a house party, before heading to a popular Las Vegas nightclub in a limousine.

The duo had a fun night dancing and indulging in fun karaoke as they hit off. The two have also found a common bond in faith and God. After his win over Haney, Garcia thanked God in his post-fight interview. Later, Sanders Jr. joined him in hailing God and commented, “God is the greatest,” under one of Garcia’s Instagram posts.

Well, apart from being in news for the failed drugs test, another issue people have with Garcia is his support for former POTUS Donald Trump.

Ryan Garcia’s dedicated support for Trump

The boxer is used to hearing the muttering in the background since he started standing up for the presumptive Republican candidate for the White House. On May 31, the boxer posted some friendly pictures with Trump, captioning it as “Just like that, the new president He will still win. Just watch.”

Sometime earlier, Ryan Garcia had also posted on his X that “Trump is cool.” Now after all this, a report by Marca.com noted that Garcia had “assured that he was going to sue all those who seek to disqualify him, and who he believes are part of a plot to remove him from professional boxing.”

It’s safe to say that Ryan Garcia could go to any lengths for his friendships, which is clear from his bond with Deion Sanders, Jr. From their Vegas night outs to teaching Bucky a thing or two about gambling or humoring Bucky from his nonsensical one-liner jokes, Garcia and Bucky have made their bond very clear to the world.
