NCAA basketball brings everyone to the TV screens. While the men’s basketball championship is left to be played, the women’s championship revealed the best college team in the country. However, no game is without controversies, and even NFL players get invested. One such NFL player, who is engrossed in the NCAA championship, is the Dallas Cowboys linebacker, Micah Parsons. He has been an avid follower of the NCAA games and the women’s final was no exception. As the game went viral with some questionable calls, the Cowboy couldn’t hold back his emotions.

He took to Twitter to announce his thoughts to his fan base. As some of the calls became the subject of everyone’s interest, he went off on Twitter, hurling accusations at the referees and the fouls that were called.

Whenever there is a huge college game, every team has a huge array of supporters announcing their happiness and disappointment for the game’s results. In the vein of such a united sentiment, Parsons took to Twitter to allege that the game itself was scripted.

He reposted a tweet that was speaking about the kind of fouls that were being called on one of the main players of Iowa State. Allegedly, one of Iowa’s best players, Caitlin Clark was being charged with ‘ticky-tacky’ fouls.

Parsons didn’t just stop there. He also took to Twitter to accuse the referees of something greater than just giving the wrong calls. He downright accused the referees of deciding the outcome of the game.

The linebacker did not mince his words as he took to Twitter after the outcome of the game seemed imminent. As a seeming Iowa State supporter, Parsons took to Twitter to accuse the referees of practically throwing the game in LSU’s direction.

Interestingly, the game between Iowa and LSU truly ended with a bang. With neck-to-neck competition in each quarter, LSU emerged victorious with a final score of 102-85. While it was a controversial game, the end of the NCAA women’s tournament was fitting for how turbulent the entire tournament has been.

Furthermore, the game garnered a lot of attention from NFL players like Parsons. While he might have had misgivings about how the game ended, for now, his opinion remains just that.
