Coach Prime’s charm has come to the rescue yet again as an NFL Hall of Famer has arrived in Boulder to help improve their chances of a natty. This upcoming season is going to be of utmost importance to Deion since both Shedeur and Shilo, his two sons in the team, will be playing their last season with the Buffs, before finally moving to the NFL. As such, the presence of Warren Sapp is going to ensure a better hope for Coach Prime’s squad.

Deion Sanders, the head coach for the Colorado Buffaloes, is on his way to redefine the squad for the better. He’s bringing in new coaches, who will help change the trajectory of the team from the poor 4-8 record in 2023. The newest additions to the team include- defensive coordinator, Robert Livingston, offensive line coach Phil Loadholt and wide receivers coach Jason Phillips. And if this wasn’t enough, Warren Sapp has boarded the Colorado as the newest staff member.

The Colorado Buffaloes’ newest addition to the team is the former defensive tackle for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Warren Sapp played for the Buccs most of his career and was a tough DT in the NFL for over 13 seasons. Now that he’s decided to join the program at Boulder as a Senior Quality Analyst, Coach Prime, in classic fashion, welcomed him with a sarcastic introduction.

Deion said, “Another guy, I don’t know if you know him or not but he’s alright. He’s alright. He back talk so much junk, matter of fact, I met this joker talking junk to me. That’s how we met talking junk to me.”

Sapp walked in with a smile but set his priorities straight to the players. He said, “It’s senior quality control analyst, it’s a mouthful and you’ll hear me before you see me most of the time. You know I like nice stuff and we building mansions here, so that’s why I’m here to help you build your mansion and foundation. Anything you need, come see me. I’m in 416.”

Now that the Hall of Famer has joined the Buffs, this will surely mean a revolution within the team’s performance as they hope to redeem themselves after the disappointing 2023 season. With all that said, here are Sapp’s words which he used to motivate the Buffs’ players on account of his signing.

“Championship time!”: Warren Sapp as he tries to motivate the players of Colorado

The pairing of Deion and Warren Sapp exists outside of the gridiron as well. Both of them being Hall of Famers and of course, two of the best football players to ever step onto the grass. Moreover, Sapp and Deion both grew up in Florida and played during the same era. They grew so close that Deion even started to consider him as one of his closest friends.

And now that the best friends are reunited at Boulder, this is what Sapp had to say on account of his newest role with the Buffs. He said, “I love this man to death from the first time I saw him. I’ve been a Deion Sanders fan since I was 12 years old. So we all here for the man. Let’s go riding. Championship time!” Thus, the Colorado Buffaloes now seem to be stronger than ever and if there ever was a time for them to dream of a national championship, it is now.
