The world of college football is changing their already blemished verdicts of the Buffaloes as the next season draws near. Coach Prime’s sons, Shedeur and Shilo, were targeted frequently in 2023 for poor performances. But it looks like they are on their way to seek redemption as a newer and fresher squad is being cooked up at Boulder.
Shilo Sanders, the safety of the Colorado Buffaloes, is the underrated player who hasn’t been given his fair share of flowers yet. He played over 11 games and became the 9th DB in the history of Colorado to lead the team in tackles with over 70 to his name. Moreover, he is currently tied for 1st in solo tackles in the Pac-12 division with a staggering 55. With the current discussions surrounding the CU players’ potential move to the NFL in 2025, Shilo finds themselves subjected to another round of severe judgment.

On the latest episode of ‘The Coach JB Show’, former guard for the Colorado Buffaloes, Matthew McChesney, joined on to discuss the draft stock of Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter amid a conversation about the 2025 NFL Draft. He became more agitated after talking to Jason Brown and then started discussing the future of Shilo Sanders.
He said, “You can’t see through what’s actually happening. So when I say this, he should dictate where his kids go. Shilo won’t have a choice, he’ll be a fourth or a fifth rounder probably, but Shedeur and Travis will absolutely have a choice, and to be completely honest with you, both of them will be in New York for the Heisman if they stay healthy. CU is gonna win a lot of games. Shedeur might be the first quarterback off the board. And Travis Hunter might be the first pick overall. Dog, you’re getting a two-way elite talent like I’ve never seen before.“
It is evident that Shilo hasn’t made a dent in the team’s progress as Shedeur and Travis have, but maybe this is the year where he changes everyone’s minds. With that said, the 24-year-old is doing very well with his financial ventures, if not attaining glory on the gridiron.
Shilo Sanders’ jaw-opening billion-dollar deal with the North Face
The Colorado player couldn’t lead his team to a CFP top 4 spot last season, but his performance and influence caught the eyes of the fans and brands alike. The estimated value of Shilo Sanders’ NIL is approximately $1.1 million, which is slightly less than his brother Shedeur’s $4.7 million.
