The new era of the Wolverines is set to take its course and Sherrone Moore is ready with the reins of the team. The 2023 season has been unbelievable for the Ann Arbour squad, but now that they’ve gone through a massive redevelopment, their power is being doubted. Still, Sherrone Moore continues to keep his head up and exude confidence.

Sherrone Moore, the newest head coach for the Michigan Wolverines, took over after Jim Harbaugh announced his decision to leave after 9 seasons. He signed with the Los Angeles Chargers and is now pursuing his dreams of a Super Bowl while Moore will have to sit atop his legacy in the hopes of doing it as good or better than Harbaugh. Fortunately for the Michigan fans, Moore’s faith in the team is surely proof of a predefined squad, ready to take on the ultimate challenge of the NCAA yet again.

Moore said, “Humbled. Feeling every expression. Everything you can think of. So excited for our team. Great celebration today of our national championship and excited to watch our boys get to work today.” This will be the first time that Moore will be leading the team after the news of Harbaugh’s departure in January this year. With all that said, here are Moore’s expectations from the team for the upcoming 2024 season.

The Spring Game is definitely inclined towards the players having a good time before they all go their separate ways, but Moore does hold a few expectations from the team. He wants to see the team show their newfound physicality and speed and wants them to stay aligned with their true goal.

He said, “Continue to stay in alignment. Continue to work hard, and focus on the process. That’s what we continue to do, and I look forward to doing that in the future.” The newest HC has redefined the team since Harbaugh’s departure and the fans can’t wait to see how these new changes play out in the Wolverines’ overall performance. Thus, Moore’s new era begins and it’ll start with the hardest challenge yet- defending the national championship.
