The former duo of Harbaugh and Wilson is going to be missed deeply by the Michigan fans but there’s a chance they might get to witness them in action after the NFL Draft. In a recent interview on the ‘Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams, the wide receiver Roman Wilson appeared to talk about all things related to his NFL career and was also heard talking about a potential future at the Los Angeles Chargers and a reunion with his former coach Jim Harbaugh.
When asked if he’d mind going to the Chargers, Wilson said, “No definitely not, I’d love to go to the Chargers and help them win the Super Bowl. Receivers is something they definitely need and you know, I’m a guy that coach Harbaugh knows so yeah.” After Wilson’s phenomenal 2023 season, he is now being considered to be an early second-round pick which is quite impressive for a wide receiver. Wilson shared a story from the time he went to Harbaugh’s house for Christmas. He said, “I told them out there, I went to his house for Christmas, and I thought he would just be inside chilling on the couch. He was just outside working on the chicken coop, chickens following him around. His actual kids were following him, and then chickens were just following him, and he was working on the chicken coop. I was, ‘like, man, this is the most Coach Harbaugh thing I’ve ever seen.” Thus, while the fans hope for the reunion to happen in the NFL, it is evident that the two share a lot of love for each other, come what may in their careers.
