It’s not every day that you get to hear about college football’s best coach’s daughter falling in front of a former President of the USA. But with fame and its priveledges of having the Saban name, comes its own set of embarrassing fails that only occur once in a blue moon. And yet, the one time was enough for Kristen Saban to turn pink while talking about it even after 6 years.

Nick Saban, the former coach for the Alabama Crimson Tide, left a void in the sport of college football when he announced his retirement. He was the sole reason behind Alabama’s dominance in the league for almost a decade. And now that he’s gone, the fans keep up with his daughter’s highly active social media account just to get a glimpse of their favorite coach. But with Kristen’s latest tweet, we can’t stop laughing as we join her in remembering a 6-year-old incident.

On her latest Instagram story, the daughter of Nick Saban shared an embarrassing memory of tripping and falling in front of the ex-POTUS, Donald Trump. Though Kristen seems like the type of person who has had her fair share of interactions with famous figures, it sounds pretty surprising that she had an incident to recall where she ended up in an awkward position. And when it comes to falling in front of Donald Trump, terming it as “embarrassing” is an understatement, according to her

She shared her tweet on her story which read, “6 years ago today, my high heel got caught between two bricks on the South Lawn of The White House and I fell in front of the President of the United States….Never forget. 🙃” Thus, even though it’s been a long time since Kristen Saban was left feeling flushed, it is evident that the day haunts her to this very day. While we’re talking about the Saban name and the ex-President, here’s a look at the rumors that flew around some time ago that claimed that Nick Saban might be running for Senate in the future.

Nick Saban for Senate? Not happening anytime soon

If there’s one thing there is to be said about football fans, is that they are absolutely relentless. After Brady announced his retirement in 2023, they swarmed him with persistent questions about his return or coaching. Now that Saban has followed that same path, the fans can’t seem to accept that he’s gone for good.

In a hope to see Saban back on live television coverage, they’ve been direly hoping that the former coach could run for Senate. But Senator Joe Manchin, a West Virginia Democrat, was quick to refute the rumors. He said, “First of all you can put that out of your mind, because Nick won’t run. He would never run. I’ve know him since he was 4 years old. I’m godparents to his son. We’re very, very close.“Thus, even though Saban doesn’t plan to step foot into the world of politics anytime soon, the sport of football misses him dearly and wishes him the best for all future endeavors.
