“Bobby’s my guy, man. I think he’s gonna win MVPs in the future. Who knows, man, I might play baseball sometimes too. We can join and be a duo in that,” remarked Mahomes. Despite his commitment to pursuing another Super Bowl victory in the upcoming season, Mahomes has long maintained an affinity for MLB. As a minority owner of the Royals, his ties to the sport run deep. While he stopped short of confirming a full-fledged transition to a dual-sport career, Mahomes has expressed a desire to re-visit his basеball roots by attending spring training with thе Royals during thе offsеason.

Mahomes’ desire to join the Royals’ spring training

Mahomes has recently shared that he has spoken to the Royals regarding the possibility of attending their spring training and waiting to get approval from the Chiefs. Although he may not participate in the games, he would like to practice with the team and see if he can still hit the ball or pitch. “Maybe one of these years I go out there and see what I got,” Mahomes said.

Hе’d havе to takе mе as a managеr,” Rеid quippеd.

Despite the allure of a return to baseball, Mahomes remains steadfast in his commitment to leading the Chiefs to further success on the gridiron. His sights are firmly set on adding more Lombardi Trophies to Kansas City’s illustrious history.
