The new LB for the Colorado Buffaloes shows immense faith in Coach Prime’s team in a recent statement amid doubts about the Buffs’ success. He used to be a former Wolverine under Jim Harbaugh, but after a disappointing 2021 season, he decided to try out his luck with other teams before finally ending up at Boulder.

Nikhai Hil-Green, the linebacker for the Colorado Buffaloes, is a phenomenal talent. With over 25 games to his name and 123 tackles in three years, Hill-Green could be the Buffs’ key to a CFP game this year, and by the looks of it, Hill-Green strongly believes in the idea. He cited the Wolverines’ poor 2-4 record in 2020, after which the team made it to a CFP game in 2021. Now, he’s hoping to witness the same situation with Deion’s team this year.

As per a recent statement from the newest linebacker for the Buffs, Nikhai Hill-Green, he has a lot of faith in the team’s success this season through his bold words. The former All-AAC defender has two years of eligibility left before he can go on to the NFL, and it seems like he doesn’t want to leave CU without a national championship.

According to a recent tweet, Green said, “A lot of people look at a record and they write a team off, but when I was a freshman at Michigan, our record was 2-4. The next year we went to the CFP, so I’ve seen it.” Since the Wolverines won the national championship, Coach Prime has had one of the members of the reigning title team recently announce his decision to join Colorado.

As such, he will be a pivotal part of the squad, as he too once belonged to the Jim Harbaugh team that made their epic comeback after a disastrous season. With all that said, here are the songs of praise that Hill-Green had to sing while talking about his decision to move to Colorado.

The Colorado Buffaloes have lost quite a few important players to the transfer portal, like Cormani McClain and Dylan Edwards, but Coach Prime can hold his chin up high since the team has also brought in players like Hill-Green to the squad. Moreover, the former Michigan LB seemed to be direly impressed with how the Buffaloes conduct themselves, as he said a few weeks ago.

He said, “The experience with Coach Prime and his staff was a class act. Everyone treats each other with respect, everyone cares a lot about the team being as good as possible and Boulder is a unique and special place. They have a combined 127 years of NFL experience on their staff and the connections to get players to the next level. They are the 33rd NFL team, meaning they will practice, scheme, and operate like a pro team. This is also a family, and once you’re in, everyone’s resources are your resources.
