Jim Harbaugh decided to bid adieu to his time in the NCAA and move back to the NFL with the dream of winning a Super Bowl this season. As he tries to conquer the big leagues, the people beside him have nothing but best wishes for him.
The Michigan Wolverines flourished under Harbaugh’s leadership last season, going 15-0 before finally winning the national championship against Washington. Harbaugh gave nine years to the Wolverines before finally throwing his hat in the ring and now will be using his Midas’ touch for the Los Angeles Chargers as their newest head coach. As he goes on for the ultimate challenge, his right hand, the OC for the Chargers, Greg Roman had nothing but praise for the veteran coach.

The former offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens has made the trip to Los Angeles to join Harbaugh’s team. Jim has been busy trying to redefine the Chargers’ roster and, with the addition of Roman to the squad, he has a strong contending team for his first season. When asked about his equation with Harbaugh, Roman sang a song of praise for the 71-year-old coach.

Roman said, “I cherish everything about him. He’s a special guy in every sense of the word. He’s a great person first and foremost, so it’s always good when you have a ton of respect for the person you work for and I certainly do. I think for me personally, he was the first guy that really believed in me and gave me an opportunity when I went to Stanford with him and then the 49ers and whatnot. We had a good run there.”
As the Chargers prepare valiantly, it is evident that the relationship between the staff is stronger than ever and united for a common cause- winning the 2025 Super Bowl. With that being said, Roman is also ecstatic about getting to work with Justin Herbert, the newest quarterback for the Chargers.
Justin Herbert is a valuable asset for the Chargers, per Greg Roman
Justin Herbert has been another of the several new additions to the Chargers’ team. The former quarterback for the Oregon Ducks is set to have a promising time in the NFL as Harbaugh tries to scale him to new heights. Greg Roman will have to spend a lot of time training Herbert for the harshness of the league and he couldn’t be more excited about the opportunity.

Roman talked about Herbert and said, “Thoroughly excited about working with Justin. It’s a really exciting prospect to work with him. I can see watching him play throughout the years, potential is enormous. He’s a meticulous thinker, he’s extremely smart, make any throw on the field, all that stuff. We’re really looking forward to collaborating with him and doing something special here with the LA Chargers.” The LA Chargers seem ready for the season and with the duo of Roman and Harbaugh, this might very well be a Super Bowl-winning team, much to the fans’ expectations.
