NFL analyst, Bucky Brooks seems to be confident about the the impact of the Harbaugh-Herbert pair on the Chargers. In the podcast for “Bleav”, Brooks highlighted how the coaches channeled their focus on weight room strategies to give rise to revolution. He stated, “Everyone who has been around Jim Harbaugh knows that the lifeblood of the program is what they do in the weight room.”

Following Harbaugh to Los Angeles, Herbert spreads his impact among the players by carrying out the strength and conditioning workouts. Not just that, the coach ensured to point out the reasons behind every workout. Daniel Wade elaborated: “Everything he was saying was very intentional. Just letting guys know exactly why they’re doing what they’re doing, why they’re doing the stretches, the workouts, exactly what they’re hoping to prevent or hoping to strengthen by doing it.” Before Harbaugh stepped in, the Chargers had a shabby-looking weight room. Herbert has brought to the table strategies to make the players physically tough.
