Hours before their semifinal clash, the two HCs sat side by side as the media asked their questions. Amongst these, one of the pressers asked whether the team was concerned about the sign-stealing fiasco. Nick Saban replied to the same crisply- “Integrity in the game is really really important, and our team has had the opportunity to prepare for this game just like they have every other game. Especially when you’re a no-huddle team, you got to adapt and adjust how you communicate with the quarterback.”

The Crimson Tide’s HC is known for delivering some great one-liners during the media interactions. One of the most successful and revered coaches going around in the league, Saban once again negotiated a pressing question with finesse. This is great to see that Saban’s concentrating on playing the game and not on the previous history with their rivals. Michigan has already been dragged with the same questions repeatedly which might become taxing at one stage.

Moreover, Nick’s witty responses have left the footballing wondering if he’s in the last leg of his journey.

It’s evident from his press conferences and other interactions that he still loves the side and has objectives set in place.

Saban who’s currently 72 could be perhaps in the last leg of his outstanding career. As per the inside reporters of the On3, the highly respected HC might cast curtains on his career following this season.
