Tom Brady had everyone clutching their hearts during the offseason after he made his retirement announcement public. But not too long after, he pulled a ceremonious comeback. Sunday would mark the 23rd season of The Pharaoh, and it had to be remarkable. NBC aired a promo for the Sunday night game during the Thursday night broadcast of the Bills-Rams kickoff. An NBA legend voicing the advertisement made it the most refined approach to market the game.

During the commercial, Michael Jordan narrated, “I was away from the game for almost two years, he didn’t make two months,” Jordan said. “But you know what that tells me? How much he wants it. How much he needs it. TB12, Season 23. He’s back.”  The commercial also had Brady yelling the ‘Let’s Go!’ holler, which made it more iconic.

NBC made a wise decision by enlisting Michael Jordan. The NBA legend retired twice before quitting in 2003. Even Brady took a brief retirement and made his comeback. Moreover, this will be TB12’s 23rd season. During His Airness’ career, he mostly wore the number 23.

Tom Brady vs. Dak Prescott: What are the odds?

Even WR Russell Gage and RB Giovani Bernard are out of action. Julio Jones and Chris Godwin had limited training time but would play in the games.

The Dallas Cowboys have only one QB, Dak Prescott, while others got cut for the 53-man roster development. They intended to give rookie Tyler Smith a chance at the right OT. However, he would now fill in for Pro Bowler Tyron Smith on the left side after his hamstring tear. Both sides’ defenses could lead the teams at different points throughout the 2022 season.
