Travis Kelce has been having an absolute ball of a time after winning the Super Bowl. After the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl, the tight end obviously decided to have some fun. The Super Bowl champion first went on to perform with the Chainsmokers. After that, he made what happened to be a very successful appearance on SNL. Kelce also went on to share some advice he got from different legendary sources for his first experience on SNL that made it so successful. And the advise saved him from an embarrassing situation on the show.

The tight end spoke about some interesting advice that NBA legend, Charles Barkley, gave to him that would prevent any embarrassment. Furthermore, he also spoke about the directives he got from other athletes who have come on to SNL.

Face-saving advice for Travis Kelce on SNL

The Chiefs’ tight end made an amazing appearance on SNL. He went on to have a brilliant monologue that fans really enjoyed. Furthermore, even before the show actually happened, Kelce shined in a skit where he played Indiana Jones. However, Kelce went on to reveal what amazing advice he got from Charles Barkley. The TE shared Barkley’s message and said, “Make sure you wear drawers,” as per the Daily Mail UK.

Furthermore, Kelce also spoke about how he got advice from a lot of other athletes that have come onto SNL before. He was also advised by different non-athletes which helped him perform well on SNL.

Other advice that saved Kelce on SNL

Kelce has gone on to join the company of great athletes like Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Tom Brady who have come and hosted the show. Kelce spoke about how he had a brief interaction with Steven Speilberg. Furthermore, he also mentioned that he got some advice from Peyton Manning. Apparently, Manning said, “‘Dude, just go all in. Just be open-minded… be on time.” Lastly, even the NFL Network host, Rich Eisen, told Kelce how he would have to take it easy after the hosting day so that he can recuperate well. Interestingly, with his appearance, Kelce has become the 33rd athlete to come on to SNL and host it.
