Comparing NFL and NBA stars has always been a long-standing trend in the sports fraternity. Similarly, a media outlet, All Sports Culture, shared an Instagram post mentioning that the least-watched NFL Week 15 game of Raiders vs. Brown attracted an audience of 5.86 million.

At the same time, NBA’s Nets vs. Lakers’ most anticipated match could only accumulate a viewership of 5.75 million. The outlet asked the fans whether NFL was more popular among the fans.

But there was an issue with the post. It featured a photograph of Lakers Superstar LeBron James compared to Raiders’ Derek Carr. It irked Sanders to react, and he made a bold comment against such comparisons.

“Facts are Facts but don’t use King James to make your point! That’s my dude, and he’s an American Hero!” Sanders wrote on his Instagram story. A Hall of Famer admiring another GOAT in the world of sports. The 54-year-old athlete is the only player to have played in both a Super Bowl and a World Series.

He won two Super Bowl titles in his career, and after retirement, Sanders pursued coaching as a full-time job. Today, he serves as a head coach for the college football team Jackson State Tigers.

Was the comparison between Derek Carr and LeBron James really worth it?

The NBA star LeBron James is a big name in the sports world. He has 4 NBA championship titles to his name. However, Derek Carr has not even won a single Super Bowl title. Thus comparing him with James happens to be a far-fetched idea.
