NBA legend and Lakers small forward, LeBron James can put himself in Aaron Rodgers’ shoes after the Lakers struggle this season. However, the 4x NBA champion thinks the Packers need to build around their MVP quarterback.

Bron thinks A-Rod doesn’t have enough offensive firepower

Aaron Rodgers couldn’t replicate his 3 touchdowns comeback against the Cowboys on Thursday. The Tennessee Titans’ Defense held Rodgers and the Packers offense to 17 points. A-Rod did have 227 passing yards along with 2 touchdowns in the 27-17 loss. However, the complete lack of a running game by the Packers’ offense led to their sixth defeat in their last seven games.

Running backs Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon ran a combined 53 yards on 18 carries without any touchdowns. Wide receiver Christian Watson continued his good form and had 2 TDs. This gave the rookie 5 touchdown catches in the last two games. However, this was not enough to stop the Titans. Lakers key man LeBron James thinks the Green Bay Packers need to surround Rodgers with more offensively capable players.

If you have a transcendent franchise player like Aaron Rodgers,” James said, “Why wouldn’t you surround that, when you got the picks, to maximize what you can do?” Aaron Rodgers has previously mentioned a scarcity in the Packers’ offensive firepower, especially after their star first-choice wide receiver, Davante Adams left in the off-season to join the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders are 2-7 and maybe this trade has not worked out for either franchise.

King James and the Los Angeles Lakers are 4-10 and struggling this season. However, LBJ and the purple and gold army have ample time to pull off a comeback season. The same can’t be said about reigning back-to-back MVP Aaron Rodgers and his Packers. Green Bay needs to win all their remaining games or hope the 5-5 Washington Commanders and the 4-6 Arizona Cardinals and Atlanta Falcons rack up some losses.
