The date 26th January 2020 was a black day for the entire world. The Lakers legend Kobe Bryant passed away in a tragic helicopter crash. 8 others, including his daughter, lost their lives that day. It was a moment of shock for everyone, including the NFL superstar Tom Brady who couldn’t resist his emotions. The Buccaneers quarterback came forward with an emotional message quoting the takeaways from Bryant’s life. The quarterback mentioned how KB was different from others.
He left everyone behind with an esteemed legacy that made greats like Shaq and Michael Jordan, fell in love with his style. “Kobe didn’t care whether you were a man or woman, boy or girl, black or white, rich or poor, ordinary or extraordinary. He wanted to help you become the best you could be,” Brady said in his long note.

“His mere presence had an effect on everybody he was around. He had the energy to recognize in others what they could not recognize in themselves. I think that’s why I will miss him the most. Because we all know the world needs more leadership and positivity,” Brady added to his statements. The seven-time Super Bowls champion claimed that the Mamba lived for a purpose and that what he was doing wasn’t possible for everyone to achieve it.

The NFL quarterback reiterated that it was a mutual responsibility for all of us to carry forward the legacy and works of Kobe Bryant. A grand ceremony was organized to remember the likes and life of the legend. The five-time NBA champion influenced the generations to follow.

One such athlete was LeBron James, who grew up to the standards of his childhood hero and eventually broke the records with him. The following day, post-KB’s demise, James announced that he would continue his legacy and admitted the experience of playing alongside him was surreal.

Bryant and James had a special relationship. Although they were always on the opposite side of the court with different jerseys, both of them respected each other. In fact, Bryant’s last tweet before the accident was for his on-court counterpart(LeBron James).
